Hi there
Noticed in a previous thread that some have had trouble with the Ixil Exhausts filling with water! Any update on a solution before I splash out?
Cheers
Angus

Mine has spent time in torrential rain and never filled with water. Even if they did let some water in it would burn off after a few minutes of running the engine.
Maybe if your bike is left outside for long periods without being run it might be an issue. Certainly not something that I have ever been concerned about.

I suppose rain would run in with the baffles removed. Keep them in and you will be fine.

My wife has an Ixil can on her CR, it didn't come with baffles (2nd hand) it doesn't fill with water as it has a very small drain hole at the bottom of each pipe, go for it.
I have a twin pipe ixil system on my bike and the CR sounds better than mine does.

Been out a couple of times now with new exhaust & delighted with it. Great noise from idle all the way up. Not tried without baffles as happy as it is. Great service from bikermart as well.
