Hi
Welcome to the forum.
I will let you know if I am ever fortunate enough to ride in your beautiful country.
Sadly in 33 years of riding I have only ridden once outside of the UK on a hired bike in Rhodes whilst on holiday some 20 years or so ago.
Enjoy the bike.

Hello Gary, thank you so much.
Don´t worry, I bet that that happens to most of bikers, also I have only ridden a couple of times to Spain...there are a couple of things you should do if you have the possibility to come to Portugal in June, it´s the "lés-a-lés"..check it out
someday I would like to go to Isle of Man..maybe one day.

I had a look online but could not find out much about the event in English so had to resort to Google translate and watch a couple of You Tube videos.
It looks like a great event!
From what I saw, some of it appears to be on dirt track. Have you done it on a Crossrunner and if so how did it cope with the off road sections?
So far the roughest terrain I have attempted is a lightly gravelled road which the bike seemed to handle well under my nervous control.
The Isle of Man is also on my wish list but sadly I can't persuade the wife to let me go!

I've got bad tyres in the Crossrunner , they are new but awful to ride in wet . I didn't bought them , the stand where I bought the Crossrunner in '2nd hand' (two months ago) put them in the bike and I've already had a scare happening doing a curve and I don't trust them in wet pavement . The tyres have only the use of 658 kms and I'm not going to buy another ones in the moment , so ... let's wait for some sunny weekend to meet each other and have a coffee .
p.s. The tyres are Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier 2
They take much time to warm and are slippery in wet . The best of the issue is that I've heard that they end fast too
p.s.(2) I've already done the 'Lés-a-Lés' and last August I went to Picos da Europa (and I have to repeat it because it's an amazing region)

Yes, gary, the CR copes well in rough terrain, although its an 80/20 so one must know its limits😉. Their site is bad but the event is great, think about it..
Yes, our wifes are a little bit jealous....

My name is Luis Salgueiro and I live in Sobral de Monte Agraço (between Arruda dos Vinhos and Torres Vedras ) . I know thar the Pirelli Scorpion Trail are the right tyres for the CR but I have to 'burn' these first . One day we have to join our CR and go somewhere together , It's a deal !
