Morning all, got my New Crossrunner last night late on so hopefully I'll get out on it today
Bought it in White the fastest colour with the Free Rider Pack might have to find a spanner to take that baffle out after breaking the weld
Had a couple of extras fitted hand guards, fender extender and a hugger.
Hopefully it gets busier on here and I might see some of you around the country, I live in Accrington Lancashire.

Hi
Welcome to the forum.
I have a red one and it is fast enough for me.
But then I am getting on a bit!
Enjoy your new bike.

Welcome shurm
white does it for me!
I put the baffle back in when I got mine home, a tad too loud man for me.........dealer had assumed I'd want it out?
May I ask which hand guards you had fitted please?

I was thinking that it might be too loud but wanted to try anyway my 8mm spanner didn't do the job or my grips so its staying put I think
The hand grips are SW Motech ones they seem sturdy with a metal bar behind them, the Dealer recommended them (Hunts Manchester) and fit them for me FOC.

I was considering putting the baffle back ...ESP for my IAM test day when that comes ....the little bolt has an Allen key insert? ..looks fiddly and needs to be loctite held I would imagine as the original was spot welded..?
Motech do 2 different hand guards which do you have fitted?

I earlier mentioned considering putting back the baffle ... I did so ( with 8mm spanner) and thread lock ...
# sound is different / less aggressive / engine noise more audible and appreciated / seemed to run better ...subjective only ... it may well come out again at some time in the future but for now ... its good with it in ..
