2014 Crossrunner possibly for sale
on: December 11, 2015, 06:11:52 PM
I've seen another bike I would like and so I want to see if there is any interest in my Crossrunner before I commit to selling.

(I want to do more touring, so I am looking at a 1200RT).

I bought the Crossrunner new in Nov 2014, so it is just over a year old, with 7200 miles on the clock.

It is fitted with the following extras:

- Givi top box rack
- R&G crash bungs
- Scott Oiler
- Powerbronze touring screen (original also)
- power outlet for satnav/camera/etc on bars

Pirelli scorpion tyres: 4000 miles old on front; original on rear with about 1000 miles left in it.

Annual 8000 mile service not yet done. Last service was an oil and filter change at 3000 miles.

Black.

No finance (I bought the bike for cash).

Bike is in South Devon, but I will travel to demo or you are welcome to visit. I'm on the main rail line to the Southwest.

If you are interested, I will take some pics and we can haggle.

PM me if you are interested.

I should have added: optional extras by negotiation are:

- ABBA stand (google it, they are brilliant)
- IXIL exhaust in Chrome (bought but not fitted)
- Throw-over panniers.

Well, it almost certainly is for sale now. I've put a deposit on a BMW RT1200 (I want to do a bit more long-distance touring).

The Crossrunner should be available in the new year.

You may well be right, but after a 42 year gap, i've got some catching up to do.  :021: I want to try them all.

And the RT has a CD player.  :006: That's the clincher really.

Crossrunner definitely for sale, now.

I've put it with the Honda dealer in Newton Abbot to sell for me.  Torbay Honda, if you are interested. Should be ready by the end of the week.

Probably £6495, including topbox.

PM me for more details.

It may (or may not) amuse you to learn that I have now sorted the Autocom system, so I can choose to listen to: the radio; CD player; iPod; music on my phone; or my wife wittering about the lambs in the field. Actually, I realised quite quickly this morning why I had stopped listening to Radios 1, 2, 3 and 4.

What I need is a Digital Radio receiver.
