Tank Pad
on: December 13, 2015, 06:21:20 PM
Having owned a ST1300 I appreciated the protection qualities of the dedicated ST tank pad. Some have affixed this tank pad to the VFR800F, has anyone popped it on the Crossrunner yet?

Just an update...

Managed to get hold of the ST1300 tank pad dimensions and from those measurements I took the plunge and purchased.  Received it today and just been out to the garage to size it up; good news it will fit just nicely between the tank cover's contours. It looks quite impressive to my eye; so I shall be fitting at the weekend.

Not sure how to upload photos, but I shall try for the sake of anyone interested.

Mr K,

Any photos of the ST tank pad on the Crossrunner. I also thought this would be a good idea but I only got my bike on Friday so haven't got round to that yet.

Hi,

Have you managed to take any photos and figured out how to upload them yet? I'm really fascinated into what it looks like, as may purchase and fit myself, if it looks good.

Thanks..  :002:

I have ordered the same tankpad. It`s a stock honda part: 08P61MCS800. You can find the part no. at a lot of part lists, so it looks like it is not only for the ST. Hope i will get it the next days.
