Off Road Capabilities new model 2015
on: January 03, 2016, 09:53:28 PM
Hello,

I’m a newbie on these things of two wheels and need help…
More than 20 years ago I used very much motorcycles, but till 125cc.

Now I want to buy my first motorcycle and I’m not sure for the Honda Crossrunner or for the KTM1050 Adventure.
To bike will be used essentially to do road travel trips with my wife (let’s see If I convince her…).

However, since I live in country area, also intended to be used it in light off road situations…

The Crossrunner is a beautiful bike and has a detail I like very much: is not necessary to install those specific supports to attach the cases (seems not good to see when the cases are not attached), because the Crossrunner has two spaces to attach each original Honda case. The only thing I think liked was the lack of central stand and 12V plug.

However, if the Crossrunner can do this

 and this

….then will be the Crossrunner.

Not for sure if I can run the bike in these conditions (when needed), then the KTM and Triumph seems more polyvalent…

What do you think?
Thanks!
