MRA Screen
« on: December 08, 2011, 02:08:17 PM »
Spoke to hps today and a very informative gent called Giles.  He has been involved with the development of the vario screen and spoiler.

Having had a good chat and described the flexing issues of the honda touring screen, he feels the way forward is the xca spoiler which is a development of the mra vario screen.

I think everyone agrees that the standard screen works brilliantly, and has a very smooth air flow.  I think this product may well be the way forward to have a touring screen that works and doesnt flex.

I had a MRA screen on my CB1300S and the quality was excellent.
Am I the only one to e happy with the high screen from Honda?

Looks like it Rocker - but then again your also the only one who thinks white is the fastest colour. :164:

Seriously though - the screen thing is quite complicated - for example  I had a vario on GSX1250 and it was pretty poor from a noise point of view - but a mate with similar bike loved it.Think it means that there is no such thing as a universal screen.

Looking at the poll results so far that might not be quite true :002:

On the MRA website they show a few screens planned for the CR with a provisional shipping date on the 04/2012. So there's hope for the summer trips.
