Hello, Just got my 2015 Crossrunner at Christmas. Only done 35 miles so far! As soon as the rain washes the salt away I will riding. I am just a bit paranoid because it is new. Very pleased with the bike so far. I especially liked the riding position giving me excellent visibility. My previous bike for the last 15 years was a Moto Guzzi California 1100 so I think any modern bike will feel good.
Looking forward to a good years riding and maybe meeting up with some local members.

hello and welcome .. Crossrunner must feel worlds apart from the calli ? I had a Breva 750 for a couple of years .. loved the guzzi ( but a bit agricultural )  and the guzzi forum was good - hope we live up to expectation here ..I always wanted to try a Bellagio but never found one in a shop... we haven't had much salt yet really for January .. mainly RAIN !  ... but you must be itching to get out on it if only done 35 miles? ... think you need the ACT50 spray ... then go come what may !? you can always wash it afterwards.. and the west is not that cold and frosty?

    good luck and good riding

Yes, it was a Christmas present from my wife (even though I will have to pay for it!). I think she got fed up of me looking for the last year and not buying one. I was thinking of the NC750 which was very sensible and practical for me but just didn't exite me enough to buy it. I am glad I have the Crossrunner now. It has the right blend of practicality with more than enough exitement for me.
I am hoping to start  using it this weekend if it is not icy.

Those NC's are strange beasts, I had one as a courtesy bike from the dealer when I had the last service. As a kid we always regarded a 750 as a big brute but compared to the CR it felt tiny. The lack of protection being a naked bike was also noticeable. There was an article about them in one of the mags last month and as a commute workhorse they they seem to tick all the boxes - wouldn't fancy any distance on it myself.
