Looking to use my TOMTOM rider on new Crossrunner.

I have seen the - SW Motech Honda Crossrunner -  Quick Lock GPS/Sat Nav Mount.

It mounts using the screen mounting bolts and therefore does not affect the plastic handlebar covers and moves when steering.

Has anyone installed this or heard if any good.

Also would appreciate info on other systems used.

thanks
Mike

Hi Mike, I tried the sw motech on my '12 cr and it was useless. Firstly it vibrates like hell as the bracket acts like a leaf spring and secondly if you use a tank bag it's impossible to see it.
I use a Palmer adjuster for the screen so bought the accessories bar and that was just as bad for vibration.
In the end I mounted the tom tom bracket onto the mirror stem and it's perfect - almost rock steady. It's also quick release but with the option of fitting a simple lock mechanism. :031:

Hope you manage to mount it properly.

I have the Garmin 590LM and it's very good and mounted perfectly with all the bits from the box.  No vibration at all and is in centre of handle bars.
