    What Panniers ?

So... the big question for me is this...

What panniers fit the 2015 Crossrunner other than the genuine Honda version, which is a tad on the pricey side at £700 :005:

Do the panniers from the previous model 800X fit ? or the ones from the 800F ?
What about the Crosstourer panniers ?

The trouble is I will only use them about twice a year and I'll be damned if I'm paying best part of a grand for 2 plastic boxes to carry my clothing for a weeks holiday :008:

I'd rather just send my luggage to the hotel by courier lol, I have considered soft panniers as a MUCH cheaper alternative but I'm not overly keen on having soft panniers which don't lock on to the bike so security is an issue for me in that respect.

Does anyone yet supply an aftermarket set of hard panniers that don't cost the earth ?

All comments and suggestions welcomed :028:

What's the fitment like Andy ? Are they direct replacements for the Honda items or is there additional carriers to bolt on beforehand ?

fitment is on its own rack - H+B can be seen again in my gallery with the pic of bike and a windmill?
the racks are useful for bungee strap fitting anything you need to stash on the back on an ordinary day too and dont look too out of kilter with bike .. although not as good as nothing there !

should add they are of course transferrable to your next bike which Honda ones presumably would not be ...

VFR1200F panniers fit, allegedly. And can be made to work with the ignition key, allegedly.
