New be from Northamptonshire
on: May 21, 2016, 04:27:28 PM
Hi all I'm Dave picked up my 2014 cr Wednesday  it's a step up from my 36 year old cb250!
It's just a shame it's louder than the cr. I bet this is been to death but what's the views on exhausts?
I dint want too loud as I leave home at 5:00am and don't return till 10:30pm.
Thanks hope to get involved with all the forum Dave.

Hi welcome to the forum  :031:

I have the 2015 model which came with a free Akropovik fitted.

Like you I leave home early for the daily grind so have never taken the removable baffle out.

Personally I think it sounds quite good without being offensively loud.

I live in a semi and the bike is about 10 feet away from my neighbours house.

They have never complained about hearing it start and warm up as I push it up the drive.

How about getting one with an easily removable baffle (you would have to break a spot weld on the Akro before unbolting it) so you could take it out when you go out for a weekend jaunt and put it back in for work days.
