Honda Foglights on 2015 Model

Hi,
Just an enquiry to ask if anyone has the Honda accessory fog lights fitted on a 2015 model. If so are they a useful addition or do they not contribute much to the already bright headlights and do you consider them a worthwhile addition bearing the rather expensive cost in mind.

Well, I bought and fitted the Honda fog lights and have to say that they are indeed a useful addition to the headlights, they are unbelievably bright and will come in especially useful to me on the Welsh National Rally when up in the mountains in the dark and rain.

i also want to put extra foglights on my bike. is there an extra connector foreseen in the wiring loom that i can use or is it a complete new installation, connected straight to the batterie?

Go to this link

Where you should download the foglight fitting instructions, they contain the info on where the connector is, which is already part of the main harness.

The Honda foglight connector is directly about 300mm below the horn on a 2015 model, it has a waterproof blank plugged in the wires going to it are Green = Earth,
Black/Yellow = Ignition live supply from left fuse box and Blue = to bulb for foglight in dashboard. The joy of having a full colour wiring diagram.
Hope this helps.

I cant share the wiring diagram I'm afraid as I had to agree not to. You can get it online from the Honda site, but you have to pay. I am happy to tell you what colours and where they are. The Honda LED lights come with a driver unit.

Bruggen (I guess you served there sometime in the past?), is there an On/Off switch for the OEM fogs or are they permanently On?
