Engine paint corrosion

18 months old and the paint's flaking... *sigh*

Dear Mr Honda....
Current: BMW R1200RS, 2003 Yamaha TDM900
Past: Honda CLR125, Honda CB500, Triumph Sprint Sport, Honda VFR750FS, Suzuki DRZ400SM, 2001 Triumph Speed Triple 955i, 2015 Honda VFR800X

I had my radiators, oil cooler and rocker box cover replaced under warranty. Also my leaking dashboard glass replaced.

Finally got an answer back via my dealer... warranty claim rejected. Thanks, Mr Honda!  :211:

Whilst it's only cosmetic, it still sucks aye. It even sucks more than my dealer's lazy attitude towards letting me know. Despite chasing them several times over a few months, only today when I was in the shop getting the 8k service done did I get an answer, after asking them face to face.

FWIW, I was told that the answer took more than 24 hours, which in their experience means the question went back to Japan rather than being dealt with by Honda UK.
