Tank Bags
on:
October 07, 2016, 09:24:13 AM
Hi, CR newbie again. I'm considering a tank bag for my new CR. I currently have a Givi with a tanklock mount on my 1200 but according to the Givi website, they don't do one for the CR. Does anyone know different to this?
I've also been looking at SW-Motech but am confused as they recommend different bags depending upon which part of the website you visit. The Evo Daypack & Evo Engage look about right but I'm confused as to which will fit. They also appear to have 3 different tank mounts at 2 different prices but don't specify why I should pay more. Anybody have any answers?
Thanks.

I think the correct sw bag might be city. I have a tank ring never used that I'll knock out cheap if you go down the sw route.

Ok, thanks - is that 15+ model year or pre-15 model?
The
SW website
says the Sport is the only one to fit the CR 15+ model.

I use a Bagster Tank Bra ( not full wrap cover ) on 2015 and bagster bag - that I can use on other and future bikes - that way chnaging bikes is only a new "bra" cost
ladies please forgive the terminology !

Thanks Adst. I have a Bagster on my Vtec but I don't want to cover up the paint on the new bike so would prefer one that attaches to the petrol cap mount.

Ah, I see....it's a strap-on then!
Thanks, but I'd still prefer a cap-mounted solution.

That would be handy!
I'm struggling to find a dealer nearby so I go look at them.
