Decided to get my xmas gift early  :001:

Fitted them yesterday. Quite a bit of effort required, but at least I didn't hand over any beer money to the dearlers   :031:

Looks good, when I enquired about having the same fitted to my bike before delivery the dealer put me off saying the Honda crash bars weren't worth having, are yours the Honda bars or other make?

It's the Honda parts. Great quality so would love to know why the dealer put you off of them. They could have built in some more protection in the front (radiator section), because the sides are well covered. But besides that, they seem compliment the bike well  :002:

And the fog lights work exceptionally well!

The real deal honda fogs look great but I couldn't see 4-500 squids go that way ..
I have 2015 honda crash bars already ...and just this weekend fitted cheap U5 Cree £18 eBay to an aux fuse box ..
One advantage ..you can mount the lights low down and make the safer triangle headlight and Cree .. The honda fogs high up seem just to increase the visible headlight ...
One big disadvantage the fixing of the cheap ..mount bracket allows no change in direction for the whole light ..2 screws to the mount ...so needs a mod so you can angle differently from the angle the bars make you set it at .. More work in play ..

Yes Hepco and Becker also do a set, but neither seem to provide a straightforward mount for Cree running lights due to the angle of the bars.
Has anyone fitted a set and set up the lights?
