Just for a Christmas bit of fun I thought I would ask what bike you would ask Santa ( or whatever name he goes by where you live) to bring you if you could keep your CR as well. I think that mine would be Repsol Honda CB1000R or if he is feeling really generous a white GL1000 Goldwing. as this is just for fun discount the running cost

Because is Christmas, I would have to say a BMW1000RR would be the perfect gift for me ... if only Santa would listen to naughty boys.

Hmmm... tricky one. Lets see, i've got 98 miles of road, a max speed limit of 35 mph.......... guess it could only be a MV F4 1000R 312. Then again, the Ducati Diavel is sort of interesting ( Italian bikes are ok on a small island, you don't have so far to push them home!).

Would that be a modern Bonneville or a proper one?

I would love to have a proper one in the garage ( my father had a 500 twin in the 50's ), maybe even a Commando 750. My previous bike was a Daytona 650
My uncle had a raodster in his garage that I was allowed to sit on ( if I behaved at the dinner table ) when visiting with parents as a young boy. At present I do not have the hands on know how to keep these classic machines running but this is something I aspire to. Run my own business so have very limited downtime, but still have the dream !
