12v lighter socket positioning
on: February 12, 2017, 06:43:53 PM
Hi Guys
I see the 2017 model has a special inner fairing part for positioning the 12v lighter socket . As this doesn't fit on earlier models ,I was wondering where some of you guys have fixed it onto your cr's

cheers in advance Moley

I bought a gps holder from SW motech and attach the socket to one of the legs of the holder with strips. Looks and works fine

Depends what you want to use the socket for, as the TomTom that came with the Bike is wired in permanently I added a socket on a short trailing lead under the seat, this is mainly to power a small tyre compressor, but if on an all day ride the Sat Nav Headset or Phone can be put on charge and hidden under the seat while taking a lunchtime break.
