Hi All,
Out on the CR in Bridgwater, Somerset this morning (Easter Sunday) and saw another 15CR in the mirror while stopped at Road Works Lights. First time in 5,000 miles that I've seen another 15CR on the road! Are we that uncommon or is it just me?

I've had my 15CR since August 2016. I think I've only seen one another 15+ CR on the road in that time. How many have Honda sold?

I bought mine from Thunder Road, Cwmbran in July '16 when they had one white and one red. I chose the red one and the white one stuck until they discounted it because they couldn't sell it after Jan 1st '17 as not Euro4 compliant. No idea how many have been sold across the UK.

Hi JohnG,
Here in Portugal, a bike loving country, the CR is almost unexistent.
Dont know why but here sales were a big flop, at least for mark 1.
One month before buying my CR I didn't even knew it existed. Never seen one before. Only the heavier ctourer that put me off.
Also seen very little of the new one.
Here they're all crazy for MT's, Vstrom and GS... and the amazingly economical NCs just about everyhere.

Hi Las800, I too hadn't heard of the '15 Crossrunner until returning home from France last Summer wanting to change from the Bike I toured on. Friends said buy a GS but these are so common. Having had a couple of VFR750's over the years appreciated the Vee4 layout and like you, considered the Crosstourer but my legs are too short for that bike's seat height and also wanted something lighter with 17" wheels, besides other considerations.
Then found the CR while going through the range of bikes available, the CR was the obvious choice especially with the pack of extras that came with it, so traded in the previous bike for the CR. Since then, while in another Dealer's showroom where they had a CR on display alongside a Crosstourer, I knew I made the right choice, lower seat, less weight, more agile and in real world conditions just as fast and comfortable when touring or on long runs. Besides being several thousand pounds cheaper.
I've been more and more happy with the CR every time I ride it so hope to keep this bike for the foreseeable future.

I think I've seen only three since I bought mine, Feb 2016. Two of these were possibly the same dude on the A3, London bound, near the M25. The other was in Central-ish London. Both red, never laid eyes on a white one.
I ride a lot, but mostly at mid-morning early evening on a weekday, so maybe I'm not seeing so many cos I don't ride much outside of those hours? It does seem that it's not a popular bike though.. and I guess it's no surprise given the press are busily fawning over Ducati Multistradas and Yamaha Tracers. I see plenty of Mutleys, and a few Tracers out there.. and very occasionally a Kawasaki Versys 1000. All of which are dwarfed in number by Triumph Tigers.. so many 800s out there! I guess that's what people are buying.. perhaps the VFRs are losing out to the far more grunty but much less enjoyable to ride (IME, after two test rides) Tiggers.

At least we have a more exclusive machine!
Here the NC's are more like a plage. It's a great commuter and very good looking bike but with such high numbers it becomes really boring...
