    Evening all. Newbie member from sunny Sussex. Interesting & informative forum. Just traded in my trusty '03 VFR800 for a Crossrunner. Most impressed! I love it but I'm surprised it doesn't feel as quick.
    If you can pick your nose whilst riding, you've clearly forgotten your helmet!

    Hi, and welcome. I thought that my mk2 didn't feel as quick as my mk1, maybe its because its smoother with less of a kick as the vtec kicks in?

    I've always thought about doing a practical test alongside an Fi and a Vtec, plus the new F though I don't have any friends nearby with one. I was thinking a throttle roll on, in 6th, from about 60mph in 6th gear just to see which model can torque the torque.  :007:
    98 VFR800 - 130,000 miles, 08 VFR800 - 76,000 miles, 15 VFR800X - 44,000 miles (all sold)
    14 VFR1200 - 20,000 miles
    18 VFR800X - 16,000 miles
    01 VFR800 Fi-1 - 0 miles (yet)
