When I purchased my 2019 CR I had the Honda dealer fit the Honda hugger. It's a sturdy item and appears not to be part of the chainguard assembly. It probably costs a few quid more being a Honda part but I've had no problems with it.

There isn’t one available for the Mk1 CR from Honda as far as I can see.

I think I'm correct in saying that the chassis setup hasn't changed since the CR was first introduced so a hugger that fits the 2019 model would indeed fit the Mk 1.

Swinging arm on rc60 is different from the mk2 modeks.

Don’t know about the Powerbronze huggers, but my Pyramid one was only 11 months old. They did replace the plastic section, but it looks identical.
I’ll report on the P and P motorcycle bodywork one when it arrives and I get it fitted.

I am very sceptical and paranoid about adding something above my wheel since my last bike.

Just imagine the spectre of emotions I felt at this moment  :008:
So, no bendable brackets for me since then.

Don't need to imagine your feelings, I have been there!   :114:  Glad you are OK.

FWIW the Pyramid hugger I fitted after the Powerbronze destroyed my tyre, has been perfect.
