Having read other member's thoughts on what to add I have fitted a Fender Extender,Rad Guard, home made from a kit and a Honda Hugger to my 2016 Crossrunner. All of these I really think should be fitted as standard as each is functional and not cosmetic.I watch with interest the post on screen's before I change mine

I wish I had the skills to do a decent job. Until that day (never) comes, I'm stuck with buying from aftermarket suppliers.

mjd - how about some pics of your work?

Just click 'browse' below when yr typing a post and navigate to where the pics are on your computer. If they're too big, you can re-size them down in Paint.

I'd add hand guards (possibly the most useful spring / autumn / winter tool on a bike fitted with heated grips  - I have Givi ones), engine bars (I have SW Motech only because they are minimalist and I don't think I need aux lighting)

Along with the above these make a GREAT bike in the Crossrunner an OUTSTANDING bike .... I traded a BMW GS for this and couldn't be happier. I'm only 1900 miles in and so far so good  :001:

I'll be adding a power bronze adjustable screen then I think I'm done :)

Hi Bob here , would be interested in your thoughts regarding the GS v the CR .
The especially the V4 engine compared to the more powerful Boxer twin , also build quality and reliability.
Every other bike you see seems to be a GS or a variant of the GS !
Whereas the CR is a rarity. (which l like)

     Thanks Bob

Thanks for your report on the bikes..great info. The GS does have advantage regarding the shaft drive   but have heard of many shaft drive failures .
The side swinging arm does make chain adjusting much easier IMHO.

    Thanks again BOB
