I'd have it on my Street Triple, not sure that much noise suits a Crossrunner!

There's so much power in the 1200, I'm not sure you could spot a few hp increase except on a dyno. Anyway, I didn't buy it for power increase, it was sound/weight/looks and as an added bonus, it appears to have smoothed out the lower throttle response.

As I found on my 98 VFR800, a noisy exhaust can save your life. You can always keep the standard spud in or use the supplied sports spud. Whichever, it is an excellent exhaust and I highly recommend it. If the Cr was my main bike, she'd have one too.

It certainly suits my taste in appearance and sound.
Skids did your vfr need a power commander with exhaust installation?Do you think the exhaust can work with standard ecu of the cr?

    No m8, I don't think you need a PC.

My Cr has a Honda-fitted Akrapovic end can, my 1200 has the DAM that I fitted and my previous 08 VFR800 had a set of Staintunes I fitted. None of the bikes has needed a Power Commander. The Honda ECU seems to cope well with the changes, indeed both the 08 and the 1200 seemed smoother and better fuelled low down after fitting the new cans.

You could always try it and if see if you need a PC afterwards, but I doubt it. This new 800F/800Cr engine seems to have most/all of the issues the older engine suffered with sorted.

    HTH.

I have one spare from the VFR800F that I swapped for the Crossrunner last week.
It has a db-killer which makes the sound much better and more civilized.

If anyone is interested in buying it from me, please send me a pm. It does fit the crossrunner (2015+)
