Hello, does anybody please have an idea where this rubber part might be from? I found it lying on the ground in garage under my CR2015. Thanks for any advice.

Looks like a protective runner that sits between the edge of the tank and the frame. Let me go and check mine.
Nope, the 15 Cr doesn't have them.

Have you had the bike apart at all recently? If so, what did you remove?

Thank you for reply. No, I haven't done anything with the bike in last few months besides the chain maintenance, it's weird.

Mine does.. on one side only, of course! But that's exactly what it is.. it was glued onto the tank and sits inside the hook of the black matte plastic lower cowling piece.

Maybe mine fell off too!

Thank you, you are right, it's the piece of rubber from there - it's in place on the other side. I was trying to get it back in place but it's too tight, impossible without taking off all the plastic cowling, so I am leaving it be for now.
