    USB connector

    Hi all,

I've bought a USB port to fit to my 2016 CR and the wiring appears to go direct to the battery terminals. Rather than do this and it very likely drain my battery, does anyone know of an easily accessible ignition live I can connect the positive to please?
I don't want to nor do I have the capability to start splicing wires, soldering, etc so if anyone knows of an easy way to wire this in so it won't drain the battery, I'd be very grateful if you could share this please.

    Thanks  :419:

Hi if nothing is plugged into the socket and it does not have a power indicator ie led then there will be no drain if you do not want to splice or solder then the options are connect to the battery or scotch lock connectors these place over your power supply put your usb power cable in the other side close and squeeze together with a pair of pliers see google /youtube

Yeh, it had a running light when I connected it to the battery so will draw a charge.

I'm happy to scotch lock the wires but any clues which one is an ignition live?
