Tank Grips
on: January 03, 2018, 03:54:35 PM
Finally (I seem to say that a lot!  :001:) got around to fitting a pair of Tech-Spec Snakeskin tank grips to the X.

Tech-Spec don't do a specific set designed for the X so I bought a universal set which I cut down to size after making a paper template.

I quite like the results and shall be testing them tomorrow.

Worked as advertised today. Didn't even notice that I wasn't sliding at all.

Recommended if you don't like the fact you can't grip the tank with your knees.

Just an FYI - R&G Racing have tank grips designed specifically for the 2015+ VFR800X - I put a pair on and have been very happy with them.
