New VFR800X owner, need advice

Hi all,
I'm soon to be the proud owner of a VFR800X 2017
. Got a good deal on a used bike with only 956 miles on the clock and as I no longer need the bike for commuting, the NC750X is now gone.
I'd like to mount my TomTom sat nav above the instruments as I've seen many doing, away from the fuel tank, wonder if anyone know if the SW-Motech GPS mount
(
http://shop.sw-motech.com/nocache/en/4052572032138,nc1517091074.htm
)
would fit with the new adjustable screen of the '17 model. Anyone?
Also, still in regards the new adjustable screen, anyone about 5'10" can comment on it?
I think a Puig tinted screen would look good on a red bike, hiding the sat nav mount behind it, plus provide better wind protection than the OEM screen.
I have a brand new Acerbis Vision handguards. Does anyone know if they would fit without problems?
And lastly, where can I get hold of a wiring diagram? Seen a few posts mentioning it can be obtained from Honda website if you pay for it but I can't find it anywhere. I'd need to install the Admore top box lights.
Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the site and Crossrunner ownership.
I think there has been a thread on screen-mounted GPS brackets so try a search. Mine is mounted on the bars and I'm happy with that.
Can't help with the Ascerbis guards either I'm afraid. I have Barkbusters fitted on mine and like them a lot.

Thanks Skids
I've been lurking in the forum for a while, seen lots about the screen-mounted sat nav but nothing on the new adjustable screens.

Can't comment on the fitment for the later screen but the bracket is very well made and heavy it also has a built in damper add that and the weight of your GPS to a flexy dash assembly makes the whole lot shake around enough to become unreadable and not much use without at the very least removing the damper which I have done.

Welcome!
There's a thread with a link to the 2015 service manual. Not sure how much has changed but not a vast amount at a guess.

That is the Service Manual for the 800F model, not the X, but there is a lot of commonality, especially the engine from the 2015 800X onwards.

Thanks Slaine.
Does anybody know if the VFR800F and the Crossrunner share the same seat?

They certainly look very, very similar. The X has a small hump on the rear seat, can't tell if the F does or not.
Go ask a dealer or check part numbers?

Thanks for picking me up on that.
OP - I'd forgotten that I managed to download one a while ago. I've put it on Google Drive so you can take a look if you like:

That link is to the Owners Manual, not the Service Manual.
