2015 exhaust on 2011
on: March 04, 2018, 11:32:57 AM
FYI
A 2015 exhaust back section fits on to a 2011 model. Needed a little finagling to get on, but not much.  Had to loosen the rear bolt on the pillion foot rest, bring the rest down a bit, then connect up the exhaust, then lift the foot rest back into position.
A 55-59mm Mikalor exhaust clamp was used to connect it.

Hope someone finds this useful

Is that the oem end can from the 15+ or the Akrapovic? Can't remember when it started but you can only get the Akra now on new bikes, the old oem is no longer available, afaik.

If it's the Akra, that could be handy to know as I may be selling mine.  :028:

Is the OEM can from the '15. Can't see why others would not fit?
I was after buying an '11 OEM one, that'll teach me for Ebaying after a few beers!
