I fitted a SW Motech GPS mount HONDA VFR 800 X, has anyone found a solution for vibrations as it is pretty annoying.

I removed the damping rubbers from the mount and re drilled the mounting holes to move it back as close to the screen as possible put some pipe insulation between the mounting plate and the clock surround no perfect but at least readable. The whole dash/screen mount is very flexible which doesn't help. Alternative is ram mounts on the bars.

Thank you for the reply,
I had also thought about moving it back as close to the screen, so it is good to know that it is something worth looking at. Thanks again

I customized it .
I removed everything , I kept the part which is mounted to the windscreen bracket.
There I made a (almost) 100 degree angled piece, painted it black and mounted the GPS holder.
Now my GPS is almost against the windscreen.
Nice and firm.

Thanks Lampie, would you have any pics of the install and the part you made?
Many thanks
