I just changed my oil and filter.
What a terrible messy job is that.
Even with special tools the filter is almost impossible to change.
But it's done, Intime to go on a roadtrip to Austria (Tirol) on Saturday
I cant wait anymore...

I just did the same job for the same reason. Yes, it was a tricky job but do-able with a bit of patience - feels like its more difficult than it should be.
I’ve just got back from my trip to Austria 2320 miles in 6 days. The main objective was Grossglockner but I also managed to fit in a few other highlights such as the Stelvio pass and the Davos to Stelvio road. There are so many good roads around there its hard to pick a bad one.
Have fun & enjoy the trip.

I have completed two oil changes now, it’s not a difficult job, it’s just a messy job. Once the filter is loosened the oil goes over everything beneath it. Access is tight but with the lower cowls, radiator cover, under cover stay bracket and radiator lower bolt removed there is enough movement in the radiator to allow clearance to remove the old filter and insert the new.
I use the filter removal tool supplied with the filter (15010MCEH51) which makes life easier. Can also get the torque wrench in there (24 NM). It’s also a good opportunity to give that area a good clean and apply ACF50. If your into that sort of thing.

I managed it fine just removing the lower plastics and used s filter wrench similar to above. It was pretty tight but I had no difficulties. I do remember remarking on it being stupidly awkward though conside into his regular a procedure it is.
