I've been too busy with family and work this year and haven't done too many fun miles but tomorrow I'm going out with one of my groups for a 150mile run. Temperature should be about 5C with dry roads and lots of fun. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

I enjoy riding in cold weather a lot, wrapped in Goretex and winter linings, it's like I never got out of bed :)) Hope the Oxfords grips will work well as I hate wing gloves or numb hands.

Too true.... It was -5 this morning and after getting out of a sub tropical 26.c volvo globetrotter, de icing the car was a painful experience.

Bikes in these temps....More chance of me riding Angelina Jolie than my crossrunner  :001:

As the weather hasn't been too bad lately I have been using my CR for my commute to work which is around 75 miles a day. However last night they started spreading salt on the M20 so CR is in the garage and the Deauville being used

I had much luck with the weather in Bavaria this year. :047:
Not really a winter until now. Only in the Alps there is much snow.
So I was able to drove over 500km since Sylvester.  :046: :046: :046:

I hope for all of us a early spring 2012! :022:

    Cheers
    Ralf

First ride of 1012 today approx 90m in blazing sun  :046: :046:
I learnt today that my Rukka Athos jacket and trousers are superb , could have ridden all day.

However my gloves are absolute pants , stiff, cold with no feeling of controls. Will now be looking to upgrade them, any ideas folks ?

    Hi,

I have two pair of gloves, but after 2h ride,my fingers are cold from the front. But not as cold that I have no feeling anymore.
What kind of gloves did you wear today, then I can imagine if my gloves could be good for you as well.
