Despite being very careful when cleaning the instrument panel , it has ended up being scuffed and a few scratches as well .
Anybody had a similar problem ?
If so is there any way it can be polished out
Thanks Bob

Unfortunately you won’t be able to remove the scratches but you could try using a fine cutting polish if the scratches are ultra fine. That’s what I use on mine and then seal with a hard wax (collinite 476s). If the scratches are deep you could minimise the damage by polishing with micro mesh. MM is a series of ultra fine abrasives ( 1500 upto 12000) which you can use to gradually polish the damaged area. Practise on a scrap piece of plastic first. You may have to apply a clear coat lacquer to finish. I have had mixed results using mm myself.

Does it make it any easier to read? I absolutely hate the instrument panel on my 2012. In normal sunlight the glare off it makes it impossible to see anything apart from how fast I'm going. Tried getting a matt screen protector from
https://www.speedo-angels.com/
but seems they don't make one.

Hi , my bike is 2016 model with a different Speedo, in bright sunshine it's actually easier to read as everything gets brighter . So much improved from the earlier model .
Cheers BOB
