POSSIBLE SE ENGLAND MEET
« on: January 18, 2012, 04:01:57 AM »
As there are now a few of us from SE England on the forum I thought maybe a meet up some time in the early spring might be an idea. Somewhere like Box Hill or the Ace might be suitable. Of course those from anywhere else would be welcome.
Anybody interested?

I'm always looking for excuses to go out on the bike. Maybe arrange a ride out with 2-3 stops in different locations for people to join in more easily?

I would be up for a gathering - Northampton is not that far North and anyway, if you are going to go out for a ride, might as well make it a decent one. Could meet Danesman on way down.

First date proposed by Rocker66 is Sunday, 29th April with possible locations at Box Hill or The Ace Cafe.

Although the MotoGP Jerez race is on that weekend, I can watch it on iPlayer (providing no one spoils it for me :076:) and would gladly join the CRs  :046:.

I think that maybe Box Hill might be favourite although if with a couple of days to go the forcast is dry but cold we could always swap it to the Ace :002:
It would appear that there will be at least 4 of us. My wife may also come on one of her bikes

I would be up for this - never been to Box Hill - so fine by me.

I'm happy to meet at either place.
I'm having a knee op on the 19th March not sure exactly what might need to be done yet but hoping I'm able to get on the bike

Good luck with the OP. I know that living with a knee problem is not nice
