Honda Panniers. Lock change options?
on: January 13, 2019, 06:25:37 PM
My new Crossrunner was stolen after 2 weeks. The Givi maxia4 56L top box and Honda panniers were not fitted.
I am debating on buying a second hand crossrunner, so not as desirable to thieve in London.
I gave the ignition keys to the insurer and still have the luggage.
How would I go about changing the locks on the Panniers? they are fitted with the original barrels and locked.
I would rather save money and go non Honda and use separate key to ignition.
Don't fancy going to Honda and asking for a key to match, thats for a stolen motorcycle.
Thanks

I think I'd drill out the old locks and buy new lock kits from Honda, then you can make the locks fit your keys.

If you need to get those locks replaced at cheap, then consider contacting those locksmith experts that provides 24/7 locksmith service in your area. Their rates are pretty much comparable than others.
