Warranty is up soon, any advice on what to check/look at ?

This being my 1st XR I was wondering if there's anything in particular that I should check/look at before my warranty expires in early March. The bike has been perfect so far, it's got 11k miles on it now and everything seems fine but thought I'd ask before it's too late.
Have any of you bothered taking out the extended warranty on offer from Honda, 1yr costs £320 or 2yrs for £495 which covers everything you get with the original incl. Honda Assist.

The engine is pretty much bullit-proof, so I didn't bother at the end of warranty.

Me either.

You'd be very unlucky to have to pay out that much for repairs/replacement parts.

Have you checked the front of the engine for corrosion? The grey paint on the front cam cover on mine is peeling.
