Not wishing to start a row but some interesting figures following my wife's purchase of a new Suzuki Vitara and my long term ownership of a 2011 X,

Car;
weight        1200 kgs
power         118 bhp
engine size  1600 cc
economy     45 mpg
top speed    120 mph claimed

Bike;
weight         236 kgs
power          105 bhp
engine size   800 cc
economy      45 mpg
top speed     120 mph actual

I know which I prefer to be driving even when it rains, but it does cause me to raise an eyebrow.

I've never really understood how or why bikes use so much fuel either John  :027:

The difference is that the bike has a speedometer, but the car has a calendar. :008:
