Hello everyone

Hi

Fairly newly acquired 2012 VFR 800x - absolutely love it. Traded my VFR 800 sporty for it, 'cause my neck ached like crazy after about an hour - not a problem now with sitty up position. ALso have a NC&%) - which I also love. They aren't the fastes bikes out there, but they are right for me. I've come from Kymco 12 SPort, a Norton Colt 125, a Triumph Daytona 600 (now that was a cling on for grim death bike)A VFR800F, two NC750x (not DCT, though I have ridden a DCT - v strange gearing decisions), and finally my Crossrunner.

My issue now is getting the fairing off without breaking tabs, in order to attach and wire in a GPS. The design of the fairing makes my head hurt!

Any sign of a Haynes manual for the 2012 Crossrunner?

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris & welcome to the site and Crossrunner ownership.

There is a factory manual available but it's in sections. Too big to e-mail, it can be Dropbox'd if you'd PM me your email address.

There is a detailed description of how to remove the fairings, I think it's on here somewhere.
98 VFR800 - 130,000 miles (sold)
08 VFR800 - 76,000 miles (sold)
14 VFR1200 - 20,000 miles
15 VFR800X - 44,000 miles (sold)
18 VFR800X - 16,000 miles
