Hi guys.I'm thinking of buying the honda 12volt socket but i cant find any info regarding the installation.Has anyone installed one?Judging from the photo of the socket ,it seems plug n play but where is the connecting cable? Another question, do i need to drill a hole somewhere or is there a specific place for it?

Mine is under the seat. I bought an Oxford Products one on the recommendation of my Honda dealer.  Can't recall the connection but I'll take a look later, though I suspect it's direct to the battery.

    Good Afternoon Greece

The option I used was to use the Optimate connection to the battery, then a Optimate 12V socket that was plugged into battery via the this connecter. The Good/Bad point being it is always live.

I drilled a hole in the square plastic insert on the left side under the dash and fitted the the 12V socket there, if attached a photo. It's one option from many that are available but it works for me.

If you buy the genuine Honda accessory it should come with instructions. I have the Honda one fitted, it goes under the rear seat on the left side and comes with a connector to jump into the wiring loom.
