    Satnav mount..

    Hi

I recently picked up a 2013 vfr800x crossrunner & I'm looking for recommendations for a mount for my tomtom rider satnav.

Also interested in handguards for the bike but the ones I've found online are for 2015 and later models.

Looking forward to hearing your recommendations & many thanks in advance

    Hi m8, welcome.

Best mounts I have used are either RAM mounts or Telferizer…..I have both on my current bikes.

For handguards, I use Barkbusters universal hand guards. They keep the wind and rain off but are fabric so don't offer much crash protection.

    Hi

Cheers for the reply. I dont see how it's possible to fit a ram mount on this bike..mine is the crossrunner with the almost scooter like setup at the handlebars so there's nowhere to fit a ram mount into. I've seen a sw motech one but its mightily expensive at around £60.!

I have one of their bar mounts on mine.

    I'll take a photo.

I think you can also get their brake/clutch master cylinder cover mounts.

My crossrunner doesn't have the same bars as yours..mine has the earlier design, a bit scooterish & not conventional bars

Ok. I'm sure they do mounts on the clutch or brake master cylinders.

Otherwise the Telferiser mounts on the fork stem. This is mine on my 1200.

You can also check SW-Motech's Satnav mount: https://www.sw-motech-shop.co.uk/GPS-mount-for-cockpit-Black.-Honda-VFR800X-Crossrunner-11-14-16-.

Also if you're into DIY'ing a solution, you can do something like this: https://www.honda-crossrunner.com/index.php?topic=59.0
And the Lord said unto John, “Come forth and you will receive eternal life.”
But John came in fifth - and won a toaster.
