picking up a 2019 Crossrunner up tomorrow having traded in my 2014 Crosstourer.
Loved the Crosstourer, but at 65yrs old was finding it a bit heavy to push around so looking forward to having something slightly lighter.
Will run it in then make a start on planning a tour for next year, and get some miles in.
Just spent a month touring Slovenia and Austria so miles do not worry me.
Really looking forward to breaking in a new bike and putting my accessories on it.

Good move, you’ll have no problem moving this lightweight around.

Hi and welcome.
I'm sure you'll love the 800 but you will feel the step-down in performance from the 1200. I spent the last 4 days hooning around Wales on my 1200 and the ride to work this morning on the 800 felt somewhat lacklustre.
Still love the old girl though! MoT tomorrow too, plus a 40k service due soon.

No more so than the 800X, not on the few test rides I've had anyway.
