Bagster tank cover
on: July 31, 2019, 05:22:38 PM
Always had a Bagster tank cover fitted on all of my bikes, but having purchased a 2019 Crossrunner it appears that the Bagster cover being sold at present fits machines up to 2015.

My question is this, has the tank been changed on the Crossrunner between 2015 and 2019, if not I will be able to purchase a cover.

Cheers fellow owners  :046:

I have a 15 reg and am sure no change on 17-19 ..just the exhaust rating etc ..
I use a bagster bra rather than a wrap and it holds bags fine!

Check out my gallery there's prob something on there

This is a revelation.. I had no idea that such a thing existed!
I was a devout Bagster user, and still use one on my TDM, but hadn't really cared too much with the VFR. A chance encounter with another Crossrunner rider, sporting a Baglux setup, a few weeks back made me wonder, so I'd looked up the cost of a full tank cover... £150+, and the cost of a bag.. ouch! The 'bra' is a splendid idea though.. a much more realistic price for something I'd only occasionally need. Top tip, ta!

The "Bagster cover being sold at present fits machines up to 2015" will not fit a 2019 model. The 2015+ models are completely different from the previous ones, including tank shape.

However, it looks like you have already found a solution.  :028:

I fitted the bagster bra and was a little disappointed that there was some slight movement when fitted

Placed a piece of anti slip matting under it and all now sorted
