    Bent front wheel lip

    Hi all
Cleaning the crossrunner the other day and noticed that the lip of the front wheel was slightly bent. Dont know when it's happened and hasn't affected the handling at all but still want to get it replaced.
I know I could have it straighten ect but would rather buy new (new to me) from EBay or somewhere. My problem is there does not seem to be and Mk1 crossrunner wheels around but loads of 6thgen vtec wheel and from what I can see there the same size and design.
Just asking if anyone can confirm to me that the wheel from this model will work on the crossrunner?
Also if there is any other models people know of that will work?

    Thanks in advance

I’m in a very similar boat after hitting an errant rock kicked up by a lorry yesterday.

Where do I get a new or used front wheel?

Is the VFR800 the same front wheel?

    Hi RugbyPod

If it's a mk1 CR then the vfr800 vtec front wheel is the same just a different colour.  I believe its 2002 to 2008 maybe 2009. Basically the model with the v shaped exhaust under the seat.

I managed to get a 2006 front wheel from ebay for £100 then just had that and my rear wheel power coated to match each other.

When I looked, a new wheel for the CR is about £400 and I could not find one specific to the CR 2nd hand. Maybe you will have more look.

    Hope that helps

    Chris

    Thanks Chris

It’s a 2015 Crossrunner, so not sure the Mk1 wheel would fit.

It’s running ok at the minute but not sure it’ll get through MOT in Jan!

Time will tell and I’ll keep looking.

    Peter

No pal the 2015 is a different wheel. I have just looked and the part number does not show any other models other than the mk2 crossrunner.
    Part number is 44650 - MJM - D60ZA
Direct from Honda your looking around £600 :005:

Hopefully if you need one you can get one 2nd hand or even get yours repaired

    Best of look

Thanks Chris, I saw that cost and took a sharp breath in! I’ll be keeping eyes out for a 2nd hand one!
