Driving it first time I was convinced it should be my next bike.... beside the crossrunner I onw also a CB1000R. Bevor driving a Crossrunner I drove several years a VFR 800 VTec and VFR 800 46 I +II
I'm 49 years old and driving motorbikes since more or less 15 years.
That's all for now..

:400:Jens I hope that you enjoy the forum. We are friendly group of guys on here. Please remember to vote on which colour Crossrunner you have. I really like your other bike the CB1000R I had one on loan for a day and really enjoyed it. The only reason that I didn't buy it was that it's not really practical for touring. If I had enough money for even more bikes though I would love to have one in Repsol colours

Hi Jens,
welcome
.
Your report about the Crossrunner in the VFR-OC forum was the reason for a testride.
After the ride I bought one in black...an I know yours is also black, with some own made blue colour.
Please vote in the "which colour have your CR" thread, because the black one are at the last place in the moment
.
Also your reports about your exhaust and lagiage would be very intersting here. There are already open threads for it.
Greetings from Essen

Guido,
now we are "even Steven" your link was the reason to be here
Rocker66,
to have both is really enjoyable thing if possible. Before the CR and after the VFR 800. I had two CB1000R because I sold my CBR1000RR (it was to dangerous to me).
The CB1000R I would not give away...

In the 2ND picture your Crossrunner appears to be blue. Have you had it painted or is it just a trick of the light?

Hi Jens and welcome to the forum.
Like Rocker says - the CR does look blue - so what's the story?

yes indeed it is "moonlight shadow blue" like the CB1000R... I'd ordered a withe one last year. The dealer promised that it will arrive latest in May but the only colors he got from Honda were black and read. After several weeks waiting (sold already my second CB1000R) I became a bit upset... I thought already about to by a VFR 1200 because of the very good conditions (fortunately I did not). While talking about my frustration to the dealer we talked about to paint a black one or a read one in my favoured blue! Said and done and it looks really good and it is the only one (as fare as I know)
That is the story behind....

It looks very good and of course you would want to disguise a black one
