2017 Onwards High Seat Position?
on: September 23, 2019, 03:18:27 PM
I have just bought my Crossrunner second hand on 18 plate 2500 miles from a Triumph Dealer who had it in part exchange.

The seat was on the low position and being tall 6'5" I wanted it in the higher position.

The manual is not that clear, I have changed the position on the back of the front seat fine but it's not as clear what happens on the front of the seat. I think the tongue now goes above the bar below the tank but I have no bungs or supports to move like the manual seems to show.

Has any one got their in the high position and can show me a photo of how its configured?

Help would be much appreciated.

If you don't Have the two round bolt in blocks that the bike needs for the higher position ask the dealer or previous owner if they have them? When in lower position they are removed .. These blocks make the front of the seat sit on the top of the clipping point ...at front otherwise it will slope forward and not be fully raised
I will try and photo .. But prob not today alas ...

Many thanks I did think there was something missing will try the dealer. But might have to source them elsewhere.

A photo would be great if you get the chance. Cheers

Ok been out in rain and photo'D having trouble loading here ? So pm'd you

3 bolts through round blocks are shown and you can see where the marks show the seat sitting on them .. The clip then rests on the bar at front rather than under

Photo shows 2 silver round blocks and one black round block as needed ...they're like a huge washer that bolts onto the frame ...must be 1inch deep ..

If you cannot get from dealer , I imagine you might be able to get from Honda spares but anticipate not cheap ... Or could ask here if anyone has any not in use? Try marketplace...good luck
