Rear axle nut

Has anyone noticed that the rear axle nut is punched onto the axle so it doesn't slip ? Is this standard VFR ? If so, how do you service the hub when the time comes ? Destroy the nut and axle and put a new one ?

Yep its standard vfr... Its much like the cap you have on a car that protects the bearings from debris on your car axle. It can be reused if your careful when removing
