Just wondering how far someone has pushed a CR mileage wise so far.

Split into 2011-2014 and 2015 ono categories!

My 2015 did 44,000 before sale.

The 2011-2014 model is the same engine as the 2002-2013 ST model VFR800, commonly called the "Vtec", albeit with an engine update in 2006 to split the VTEC in/out point to prevent rpm hunting at the transition point. I'm sure there are plenty of very high mileage versions of that engine around - my own did 79,000 before I sold it.

The base engine itself, pre- or post-Vtec introduction in 2002, is about as solid as you can get. There are models that have completed >500,000 miles and still going strong. They're probably a bit "Trigger's broom", with new gearboxes and clutches as a minimum, but still running well.

Those are some pretty high mileages right there Skids - was your reason for change mostly a case of trying to avoid something crazy expensive going wrong?
