Hello from Manchester
on: December 02, 2019, 05:00:04 PM
Hi all,

Just picked up my 2019 Crossrunner on Saturday. New to Hondas (had a Kwak and a Triumph previously) but I'm impressed already with this bike!

Cheers

Rob

Hi Rob, welcome to the site.

Any pics of your bike?

What made you jump from Kwak/Triumph? Most folk seem to discount he 800X, until they ride and own one that is!

:062: Hi Rob, I too just recently got my 2019 CR. I'm also in Manchester (Chorlton) if you fancy meeting up for a brew. (My fourth Honda over 15 years).

Cheers everyone for the warm welcome! Yep got it from Hunts. I've not had chance to ride it properly yet, the test ride was in sub-zero conditions and when I picked up I was very time-poor so just had to ride it home through heavy traffic (with the panniers attached which made filtering a bit more cautious than usual).

Hopefully will get out on it this weekend though. :002:

A thought just occurred; do you commute along the A34 from Upper Brook Street through to Kingsway? About the time I was getting my CR I ended up chatting with a CR rider while I was cycling (he remarked that I was managing a good speed on my pushbike). Just wondering if that was you . . . red CR I think with a topbox.
