Anyone used MItas touring force on their Crossrunner? I put a set of Michelin pilot 5 on 4000kms ago and they are wearing badly on the soft part of the side. I ride in the mountains mostly and with pillion so looking for something a bit harder on side wall. I have been told to try pilot 5GT anybody tried these. Thanks.

I too ride mainly two up and found the same problem with the PR5 and hopefully I can add a picture. Found my problem was solved with a PR4 GT, the PR5 GT had not been released. if I can't load the picture do a search using PR5 and one of the thread shows the thread wear.

well!

overall, the road 2, not a great tyre.

3242 miles to i said 'no more' .. its probably double what iv had for previous bikes though, but i expected more when i seen comments of 6 & 8 k
front felt like it was gonna go from under me all the time in corners. did have a couple of ropey wobbles, rear a bit better, never even squared off and i took it to the limit marks, i was almost impressed to i had it in the rain.

MOT tomorrow so i blew £250 more on a pair of road 5 GT.   

the experiment starts again to find the right tyre.
