So last year (May 2019) I decided I earned a proper riding holiday after some less fun years.
First plan was to ride around the Baltic states, Saint Petersburg, Murmansk, North Cape and then via Norway back home with two mates, shame the mountains between Murmansk and North Cape are still quiet snowy. Next plans was Balkans and Greece, with 1 and a half other mates.
A few days befor departure the weatherforecast for the Balkans was shite, so I decide to do a tour the Spain on my own. I did leave the adress of the first campsite to the one mate who was still thinking about where to go.

So of we go to Honfleur. On the way I stopped at the Pont de Normandie

Just as I pitched my tent in Honfleur I hear the familiar sound of a '81 Yamaha XJ750 seca ratbike! My mate decided for Spain, so for the next two weeks no soulsearching, but talk bollocks and drink cerveza! Hopefully the piccy-upload-website doesn't messup the order of the pics, otherwise I have to rearange them. So here we go! (btw, last pic is a overview of the route I rode)

Damn, pic order is messed up. I'll fix that later.  :173:

:001: Great pix, Voodoo. How did you like Benidorm  :012:. We used to live about 80 miles south of there.

    I forgot this topic completely!

Benidorm was great, at the seaside we got some free beers at a spanish bar, saw some really pissed Brits at 4pm and we ended up at a British campsite full of pensioners. Some nice lady with a nice rack really fancied me....  :005:

But we did have fun!  :028:

    (un?)fortunately not.  :047:

Since the Spain-tour in 2019 was my last serious ride-out and I had a couple of spare days left last week I did a short trip to Spain.

Day 1: from The Hague (NL) to Campingmoto Auvergne (near Vichy (F)) in one go. About 850km of which about 350km on Motorway.
Day 2: From Vichy to Marseillan on the mediterranean coast, still in France.
Day 3: From Marseillan tot Tarragona (Spain)
Day 4: Stayed in Tarragona for a day and discoverd the backcountry, about 220km on very nice roads
Day 5: Up north again, to Carcasonne (F). Excellent riding through the Pyrenees!
Day 6: Back to Campingmoto Auvergne
Day 7: Did a tour in the Puy the Dome area.
Day 8: Next stop: Verdun. Been there many times, but still enjoy the roads and Great War sites. The campsite is getting shittier every year.
    Day 9: Back Home.

Did a total of 3.917km and enjoyed all of 'm  :031:

Some pics probably in random order, cause picr.de always manages to fcuk that up ;-)

Terrific pics, Voodoo, although some of the 'roads' look a bit hairy.
