Dual Sport / Almost off-road tyres?
on: June 15, 2020, 02:59:32 AM
Does anyone make a dual sport tyre that has a bit of meat, & will a '16 Crossrunner do a little bit of offroad riding? Mainly just gravel roads, nothing too wild.
I'm in Australia, so whether that limits my options. I currently have Pirelli Angel GT's & was thinking of trying something different once they expire.

With its 17 inch wheels the CR is definitely not off road orientated but I would imagine it would handle reasonable gravel roads. Bridgestone's Battlax A41 is a 90/10 tyre that has plenty of tread and has received good reviews.
A few of my past bikes. Norton ES2 - Norton 650SS - Velocette Venom - Velocette Thruxton Venom - Kawasaki ST 1100 - Kawasaki Z1100 B2 - Honda NSS.

Thanks, I'll check them out. Yeah not looking to go too overboard, more just something to use on unsealed roads in the dry.
