Hi all

Ok sorry for the delay, but the move took a while and then we had some issues but some of the upgrade.

Visually the site is more or less as before but's there is quite a lot of code changes in the background.

One obvious addition is the new Members Map and we've also added a new Bookmarks feature.

Members Map

To add yourself to the Members Map you need to go to your profile ( HERE ), scroll down and you'll see the map. Find your approx location and click on the map and a pin will be added. When you go back to the main map you'll then see your pin.

Note that you can only add yourself to the map via your profile.

Bookmarks

Also, we've added a new Bookmarks feature.

If there's a post you want to return to then you can "bookmark" it. This is a bit like marking it as a "favourite" so that you can find it again later.

To bookmark a topic, go into the topic and click on the new "Add Bookmark" button:

Then if you go to Bookmarks on the main menu you'll see it listed:

The list is individual and private to you. Other members cannot see your own bookmarks.

Then if you wish to delete old bookmarks then check the box next to the relevant topic and click on "Delete Selected Bookmarks". Note that you are only deleting the bookmark, not the actual topic.

There's a few other amendments that you'll find in your travels

Also, worth mentioning that I'm doing some work in Gallery at the moment so a few links etc are not entirely operational, but they should be soon. The important thing was opening up the forum again after the major work.

Sorry Admin but I cannot see a link to the map to click on in my profile - I can see the paragraph which refers but where is the link to click on??

It's basically the page in your profile thats here:

Profile --> Modify Profile --> Forum profile

You'll find the map further down that page.

Still not working for me so I guess its my PC settings causing a problem. Have ensured that nothing is being blocked but map still doesn't appear.

Also not working for me if i go profile-modifyprofile-forum profile i just get an empty box, click in the box and nowt..
Also now cannot upload pictures to my post just keeps coming up cannot retreive through upload path

Have you guys tried a different web browser or tired clearing the web browser's cache?

Have tried everything but still no map on profile page when I click modify profile. Not a problem cos I know where I am located - map tells me where everyone else is.

Ok, but it's "Modify Profile" and then "Forum Profile".

It's the page where you set your avatar but it's near the botom of the page.

sorted now i have managed to add myself to the map, i had thought it was a case of PEBCAK but it ends up it was the computer saying NO, , For those of you wondering what PEBCAK means
